While the Sponsorship and Marketing Committee will see to the overall coordination of soliciting sponsorship and marketing for the GTF’s activities, the Information and Communications Committee is responsible for drafting suitable communication policies as well as creating authentic and relevant content of all activities of the tennis federation.
The Legal and Disciplinary Committee will act as counsel on legal issues of the GTF while the Technical Committee will develop high performance programmes for the national tennis teams among other.

Speaking at the short ceremony held at the Accra Sports Stadium, President of the GTF Mr. Isaac Aboagye Duah noted that the initiative was to bring diverse views on board for the effective administration of the federation’s activities.

Mr Duah added that the formation and inauguration of the committees was also in line with the International Tennis Federation’s (ITF) policies for member federations.“Throughout the year, the GTF undertakes a lot of programmes and activities so if we have all these committees working effectively, in the next two years the sky will be the limit and tennis will become number two popular and participatory sport in the country after football,” said Mr Duah.

For his part, Mr William Osei Kuffuor, a member of the Legal and Disciplinary Committee, who spoke on behalf of the committees thanked the Board of Directors for reposing confidence in the members of the various committees promising to work assiduously for the realisation of the goals of the federation.

“On behalf of the members of the committees, I express my profound thanks and appreciation for this opportunity to serve the tennis fraternity. We promise to live up to expectation to promote and develop the sport in the country,” said Mr Osei Kuffuor.
